Healing Vidyas – Power of Vajra Needle

Vajra Needle That Eliminates Illness

The healing vidya is one of the five vidyas of Buddhism. Holy beings should possesses the ability to heal the diseases of humans, so they can save people from physical pain and allow them to live happy and healthy lives. Buddha and Bodhisattva always try their best to decrease the obstacles on people’s Dharma practicing path. Hence the healing vidya is very important in this regard.

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III showed his extraordinary healing power when he was very young. Back in the 1970’s, he was a well known doctor in his hometown. Everyday many people came to his place for help. At times, he saw three hundred patients in one day. He collected herb medicine by himself, and all his care and medicine were free to all the patients. There are many testimonies that attest to his prowess in medicine, some of which are officially published in his biography Master Yi Yun Gao. Besides regular Chinese medicine, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III also held the most incredible healing Dharma: the Vajra Needle.

In applying this vajra needle that eliminates illness, Kuan Yin Bodhisattva is used as the yidam (object of veneration), and the Horse Head Vajra Deity (a transformation body of Kuan Yin Bodhisattva) manifests awesome power. That is why the Han-Chinese people call it “Galloping Horse Wonderful Needle.” It is a healing technique specially used to cure people’s illnesses. Currently, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu Holiest Tathagata is the only one who possesses this dharma.

The powerful effects of this needle are miraculous. Various effects are produced according to the particular mudra and mantra H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III applies. This needle is able to open all of the body’s joints and acupuncture points. People who receive this treatment experience power moving through their body. No matter how strong a patient’s power of resistance may be, as soon as H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III increases the power of the mudra, the patient will immediately feel as if his internal organs were on fire and will fall to the ground screaming in pain. It is clear that people do not have the power to offer resistance to the effects of this needle.

This needle can easily cure yin deficiency and yang excess relating to the liver, gall, kidneys, spleen, and lungs; qi (vital energy)-blood disharmony; harm done to the internal organs; and other strange illnesses resulting from the six meridians or imbalance among the four great elements. After Zigong Zhuang personally experienced the Galloping Horse Wonderful Needle treatment, he wrote the following words in the book Master Yi Yungao (Master Yi Yungao is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III):

“Galloping Horse Wonderful Needle is a unique healing technique of Buddhism requiring special powers, and it is used to cure people of their illnesses. It is said that common people cannot master this technique. In order to apply this technique, one must have reached a very high state of training in the Vajra Fist Dharma of esoteric Buddhism. One must also have entered the phase that transcends the generation and completion phases. Through special skills, one produces a power that adjusts the “external four great elements.” (earth, water, fire, and wind) One then uses one’s concentration powers to bring about needle treatment reactions that course through the body like a galloping horse. Additionally, one must use thought to guide the “internal four great elements” of the patient’s body so that his body undergoes acute changes in an instant. Using the energy channels and acupuncture points, the obstructions of illness are expelled one after another. Why does that treatment produce such amazing effects? It has to do with the ultimate truths of the universe.”

Zigong Zhuang, the author of Biography of Master Yi Yun Gao, in the book he described his personal experience when H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu Holiest Tathagata treated him with the Galloping Horse Wonderful Needle: “I saw the Master1 take out a thin, long silver needle. He sat facing me about two meters away. He then tossed the needle, which entered the acupuncture point on my left leg called yang ling quan. At that time, there was no unusual feeling in my body. I just felt the needle shaking continuously. As the Master’s mudras changed, so did my reactions. He shouted “swell!” and my entire body generated a swelling feeling. He shouted “tingle!” and my entire body instantly produced tingling sensations. He shouted “cold!” and the inside of my body at once felt as if I had entered an ice cellar.

“The Master then uttered something unintelligible, and I heard a loud boom in my head. It seemed as if my body had quickly swelled. The inside of my body felt like a sudden violent storm accompanied by thunder, lightening, and surging rivers and seas. It was an astonishing and shocking experience. Then, it seemed as if wind and fire were fast approaching before my eyes. The wind was helping the strength of the fire, and the fire was adding to the power of the wind. In an instant, I was being tormented by internal and external forces. I perspired profusely and was almost destroyed. Right when I was flustered and confused, I heard “leave!” Everything then vanished and became peaceful. I forgot about both my body and mind. There was just an expanse of tranquility and emptiness.

“After a short while, strangely enough, it seemed as if that needle was “galloping” on its own. It would shake and sensations would course up my leg and enter acupuncture points in the proper sequence of those points. At that time, my entire body felt open and unblocked. My qi-blood circulation was as free flowing as a spring stream or floating clouds. I can’t say whether it was normal consciousness or hallucination, but I felt that my whole body and mind were immersed in happiness and pleasure. “I finally experienced the miraculous effects of the Galloping Horse Wonderful Needle. Although I am well known for always sleeping very soundly, that night I could not fall asleep. While in a state of drowsiness the next morning, I suddenly became clear-headed. I wiped my eyes and realized my illness had disappeared. The blue sky and green earth spread before my window. Full of energy, I threw myself into the new day.”

A disciple by the name of Kion Yat beseeched H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to treat him with needles. When H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III lightly applied one needle, disciple Yat did not at first feel anything. But when His Holiness began to recite a mantra and apply a mudra, disciple Yat became cold. Even ice formed on his eyebrows. His illness was immediately cured. This vajra needle is truly the king of all needles that only a Buddha possesses. Great Bodhisattva Tangtong Gyalpo Rinpoche XVI said that he personally saw the limitless power of the Galloping Horse Wonderful Needle and the incredibly high realization of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.

Wondrous Mastery of the Buddhism Five Vidyas – Healing Illness

Wondrous Mastery of the Buddhism Five Vidyas – Healing Illness of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III

Healing viday is one part of the Buddhism five vidyas. Healing vidya is not only the ability to heal the diseases of humans, but also the ability to fix or heal anything that goes wrong with any non-sentient things or any sentient beings. Whenever people mention  H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu Holiest Tathagata’s accomplishments in the healing vidya, they all praise the incredible healing power of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III .

Venerable Long Zhi Tanpe Nyima Renpochi is one of the great disciples of  H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. He is at the side of  H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III all year round, serving as an attendant of His Holiness. He transcribes and organizes the recorded Dharma discourses of  H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. He has witnessed many holy miracle feats. He ever told two true stories about the greatest healing power of  H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III that he personally experienced at the spot.

“The first incident was when the Buddha Master wrote a poem on Chinese calligraphy paper for each of the ten faux jade plates. The calligraphy of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is a model for others, and His Holiness has formed his own style of writing. His calligraphy is elegant, exhibits no attachment, and is free from defilements of the mundane world. Every piece is exquisite.

In order to have the calligraphy carved on the giant wooden boxes containing the faux jade plates, I brought the Buddha Master’s original calligraphy to Kinko’s to make copies. I selected Kinko’s because their machine can make copies the size of four feet or larger. Because the calligraphy was on rice paper, which tends to be fragile, no matter how careful I was, when I got to the third piece of calligraphy, the inevitable thing still happened: The printer jammed the whole piece of paper. I asked the Kinko’s technician to turn off the machine. He tried really hard to get the paper out of the machine. It was all torn into pieces with ink smudges. The writing was badly torn and smudged. As a result, I dared not copy the rest. I then brought them back.

At that time, it was night already; yet, the Buddha Master was just having his lunch. The Buddha Master saw the pieces and said to me, “After I finish my meal, I will heal it.” It ended up that the Buddha Master cleaned the exquisite piece of calligraphy. His Holiness restored it to its original perfect condition. One couldn’t see that it was put together from pieces. I don’t know how the ink stains disappeared. The strange thing is that whenever raw rice paper comes into contact with water, the paper will loose its structure or disintegrate. How, then, was it possible for the Buddha Master to clean the ink stains that were already blended with the writing? Nevertheless, this was what happened!”

“The second incident happened in December of 1998. A fellow disciple, Heng Sheng Rinpoche from Taiwan, bought a printer that could print an A4size photo directly from a video camera. He brought it to Shenzhen to offer it to the Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. When it was brand new, we printed some photos and they came out great. At that time I was the only one who operated the machine. Later, all the prints came out with lines through them or with patches of color so that they no longer looked like photos. It was possible that I had accidentally touched a key somehow and reprogrammed the printer.

I followed the manual myself and tried to adjust it. It still didn’t work. The Buddha Master criticized me because of this. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t make the machine get back to normal. With no more options, I called Heng Sheng Rinpoche and asked him to consult the manufacturer. The next day, we paid the manufacturer’s technician to make a special trip from Hong Kong to Shenzhen to fix the machine. In the beginning, the technician seemed very confident of himself. He didn’t seem to care much. Then, he started to get upset because after a long time of trying, the printout still looked the same as it did when I had tried earlier. When it was getting dark, he had to head back. If he stayed any longer, he would not be able to get back to Hong Kong. Before he took off, he said that this machine was the newest product of Mitsubishi and had just come out. This was the only one in the whole of south-east Asia. He couldn’t fix it. The only way was to take it back to the manufacturer’s headquarters in Japan.

Yet, we were in a hurry to print an A4 size photo with it. It was obvious that it would be too late to take it back to Japan for repair. Under such circumstance, the Buddha Master said to me, “Let’s check what’s wrong with it.” (This is roughly what His Holiness meant. I cannot recall exactly what His Holiness said.) The Buddha Master then sat on the sofa that was placed next to the wall. I sat on the floor, and the printer was placed right next to me. The Buddha Master was usually very busy. His Holiness would not normally do things like this. His Holiness first asked me how this machine worked. I reported to the Buddha Master about all the function keys on the machine, how they worked, and what numbers needed to be keyed in to print out a photo. Four sets of numbers were needed for each photo, and every set of numbers could have more than ten variations. The choices could go up into the hundreds. It was several times more complicated than a safety box combination. After the Buddha Master listened to this, His Holiness told me to key in a set of numbers. It still came out only lines.

Next, the Buddha Master told me another set of new numbers. After I keyed in the numbers, the print turned out better. Yet, we could still see colored lines. After the Buddha Master saw it, His Holiness had me again key in another set of new numbers. This time, when it printed half way, it was all black, like black paper. The Buddha Master uttered a roar, and said, “Good. Good. All right. It is successful!” I was puzzled. I thought, “Just this awful sheet of black paper? How can this be successful?” It was very strange because all the colors were gone, and only a mass of black was left. At this time, the Buddha Master said, “Hurry up and key in xx, xx, xx, xx.” After I keyed in these four sets of numbers, I immediately printed out the photo. Just when it came out a little bit, I already could see the true and beautiful colors of the photo. The result was exactly what the Buddha Master had predicted. It was a very good photo. The quality of the photo was the same as the one we printed out on the day the machine arrived. The most bizarre thing was that the Hong Kong technician and I also tried this set of numbers. However, why couldn’t it print out a photo at that time?

I remember very clearly this photo. It was a photo of the Buddha Master’s disciple, Daxila Rinpoche. Daxila Rinpoche is a Dharma King of the Kagyu Xueba sect. He is a solemn, great virtuous one who has reached a very high level of accomplishment. At that time, I wrote down those numbers on the back of the photo as a record.

Daxila Rinpoche emitted rainbow light when he passed away

Karmic conditions change constantly. It is a pity that I couldn’t take this memorable printer with me as I wished when I left Shenzhen. This has also proved the Buddha’s teaching: All conditioned phenomena are like a dream, an illusion, a bubble, and a shadow. I believe that this incident can give us much to ponder. First, this is a machine that had just been invented. Second, even the manufacturer’s technician could not fix it. Third, the Buddha Master only tried three times. In addition, His Holiness concluded that His Holiness would succeed after a piece of paper was printed out all black. This is foreseeing the future! This is the manifestation of the highest Buddha-dharma wisdom, complete proficiency in exoteric and exoteric Buddhism, and wondrous mastery of the Five Vidyas. What else can it be?”

I am truly grateful for Venerable Long Zhi Tanpe Nyima sharing these amazing Buddha Dharma manifestations. In Buddhism sutra said “The wisdom of the Buddha pervades everything”, it is so very true. Hope all sentient beings has the good karmic affinity to encounter the true Buddha Dharma, to cultivate themselves and reach liberation.

The Pope of Buddhism His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III

The Pope of Buddhism His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III

The conferment of the Pope of Buddhism to His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III  originated in January 2018 when the World Peace Prize Awarding Council and World Peace Prize Religious Leaders Title Awarding Council passed the resolution to confer to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  the title of Pope of Buddhism, the highest leader of Buddhism in this world. However, His Holiness the Buddha refused to accept the conferment.

For the sake of propagating Buddha Dharma and benefitting living beings, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters took the liberty to accept the conferment decree and the Pope of Buddhism Scepter. When the World Buddhism Association Headquarters respectfully presented the Pope of Buddhism Scepter and conferment decree to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III , His Holiness the Buddha III said: “I see that on top of this Scepter is the seated Shakyamuni Buddha, we should be respectful to Namo Shakyamuni Buddha.” His Holiness the Buddha then raised the Scepter above His head and made a symbolic closed palm gesture with one hand to express His respects. However, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  also expressed that He is just a humble cultivator and resolutely would not accept such a conferment. Hence, His Holiness the Buddha immediately returned the conferment decree and the Pope of Buddhism Scepter to the two Councils.

On September 23, 2020, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council and World Peace Prize Religious Leaders Title Awarding Council passed an ultimate joint resolution, determining that the return of the Pope of Buddhism Scepter and conferment decree by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  was not effectible. On September 24, the joint Chair of the World Peace Prize Awarding Council and World Peace Prize Religious Leaders Title Awarding Council Suzi Leggett made the ultimate announcement at the Holy Miracles Temple of the World Buddhism Association Headquarters: “Over the past several decades, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council has presented the World Peace Prize to presidents, spiritual leaders, and prime ministers of many nations, including President Ronald Reagan, Hon. Mahatma Gandhi, and H.E. Yitzhak Rabin. There has never been a precedence of an award being retracted or returned. All determinations made and implemented by our Councils are very solemn, serious, and absolutely cannot be changed. The return of the Pope of Buddhism Scepter and conferment decree by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  is deemed not effectible. The title, status, and authority of the Pope of Buddhism belong only to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and cannot be exercised by anyone else.” Chair Leggett once again requested that the World Buddhism Association Headquarters accept and present to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  the Pope of Buddhism Scepter and conferment decree that His Holiness the Buddha previously returned.

Representing the World Buddhism Association Headquarters, Venerable Mozhi Rinpoche accepted the conferment decree and Pope of Buddhism Scepter. He said during his speech, “The World Buddhism Association Headquarters considers that the decision made by the two Councils is remarkably proper and sagacious.

“Ever since Namo Shakyamuni Buddha entered parinirvāṇa, there has not been a supreme leader who has the authority to guide all Buddhists the same way that the Buddha did. However, the authoritative position of the Pope of Buddhism certainly is not a role that a leader of a single Buddhist sect would have the attributes to fulfill; rather, the Pope must be a leader who has authority over the entirety of Buddhism, namely, a Buddha.

“Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  holds the perfect teachings of Buddhism and meets the criteria used by all Buddhist sects to recognize a Buddha. His inherent nature is in accord with that of a Buddha. His unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment is in accord with that of a Buddha. Just based on the accomplishment of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  in Lifting the Pestle onto the Platform, surpassing His own base weight standard by 59 levels, no one else can possibly reach such a record.

“The state of virtue of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  is that of a Buddha. His Holiness the Buddha has perfect mastery of Exoteric and Esoteric Buddhism, perfect accomplishments in the Five Vidyas, and so forth, all of which accord with the unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment of a Buddha.

“In more than 2,000 years, there has not been a Buddhist Holy Guru in this world who possesses the same Buddha level qualities. Just by the facts that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  vowed and carries out the vow to benefit living beings purely on a voluntary basis and does not accept any offerings throughout His entire life, and that He possesses perfect wisdom and unimpeded accomplishments, no other Holy Guru can be of comparison. Only Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  can take on this immensely noble, holy, and heavy responsibility of the Pope of Buddhism, to properly guide Buddhists onto the correct path of learning Buddhism.

“Therefore, on behalf of Buddhists, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters thanks the World Peace Prize Awarding Council and the World Peace Prize Religious Leaders Title Awarding Council for having made the ultimate decision.”

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III  is selfless and noble, and the first person in Buddhism to possess substantive holy realization power of a Buddha and perfectly flawless accomplishments at the pinnacle of the Five Vidyas. These are the qualities that no other eminent Buddhist monastic or virtuous person in this world has so perfectly attained. It is naturally a matter of course that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the veritable Pope of Buddhism.
